YOUTH: Filming Day 1 18/3/18

We started filming at 1o'clock  after removing the furniture in Anna's living room and started the shot of Steve and Mick walking through the door and discovering Dawn. Then we moved on to shooting the very first scene outside but found the wind was the only sound our microphone picked up and as we weren't able to film anything else without Dawn, we called it a day.

We filmed between 12 and 2 and although the weather was bright, the wind stopped us from getting our outside shots completed. Sadly the mic only picked up the wind, no matter how close we got to our actors we couldn't hear the lines being said. In addition to not hearing the audio, we do need outside sounds for the scene but as the wind was too strong we were even able to pick up background noises such as traffic, passing birds and any other city sounds. Therefore we had to push the outside scenes to next Saturday the 24th where the weather is estimated to be much brighter and less windy.
